The Shawshank Redemption (1994)

I had a great Saturday when i just spent time at home, cooking, and watching old movies with my housemate, Kuza. Yesterday, i watched The Shawshank Redemption, Seven Pounds and Ayat-Ayat Cinta (haha!). and we cooked Cheese and Herbs Pasta for the dinner. The previous week, watched Save The Last Dance and Close. There goes my weekend. Swweeet ! :D

Oh my favourite songs, by Athena Cage and Only You by 112. It's OST Save The Last Dance. Damn, i miss the steps, and the beat.

Hid's Graduation Day !

Taman Negara Selai-Endau Rompin .

It's nice to have some break and spend some times at jungles. Last Saturday i went to Taman Negara Selai-Endau Rompin with OARS members for 3 days. It was great trip, eventhough i'm not really into jungle trip thngy. lol. But yeah, it was great, and i think i fall in love with it. he he.

Taman Negara Selai is located at Johor was named after Kampung Selai, an Orang Asli village near the entrance. It takes about 4 hours to get there from Cyberjaya. As we arrived at entrance in the Sunday morning, there're 9 4x4 wheels were waiting for us to get in the Taman Negara. We camped at the first campsite called Lubuk Merekek, about 45 minutes from the entrance.

Seriously the scenary was mesmerizing. We camped beside the river. I never seen sungai yg sgt best mcm tu. hee. We manage to set up the tent quite fast eventhough it was raining. Lupa nk amik gmbr campsite and masa we set up the tent. haha. At night, we cooked our dinner in group, using mustin. Sardin dan nasi mentah pn bole jadi sgt sedap bila dh kebulur. kan? haha.

After our dinner, we had night walk around the forest, and visited an old Orang Asli house which made 100% woods and bamboo without any single nails. Terer gle kan? It was great experience. I manage to breakthrough my biggest fears, the dark. LOL. Oh did i mention that my feet was badly terseliuh just before i departed from MMU? gahh, mcm haram. But thnk god, i manage to follow all the activities.

On the 2nd day, we went for jungle trekking to the highest waterfalls, Takah Tinggi. It takes about 2 hours trekking up.

At Takah Tinggi, we stopped there about 30 minutes. Sadly we can't swim there as several cases had happen before. I was really fascinated by the scenery.








We had our lunch at second check point on trekking down. One of our guide is frm Orang Asli. He introduce us a rare fruit that only happen once in 7 yrs which called buah Merekek. Rupa mcm manggis, tapi isi rasa masam2 sket. Sedap jgk la..








To Mr Driver, this is the reason why i don't like to say "1,2,3" when i'm taking picture. It turns out natural. :)


Our last stopped was at Lubuk Tapah, the base camp. I had chance to try water tubing ! Best la jgk, tapi mungkin sbb arus tk berapa kuat, so selalu tersekat kt batu-batu besar.







On the last day, we had free activity. Some of us started to pack thngs, and some went swimming for the last time. Seriously, this is my first time swimming in the deep river. Sgt best ! Ada org tu siap belaja berenang kt sana. and die berjaya ! haha. :P





We had maggie for our breakfast on the last day. lol.

I really had great time there. Wake up in the morning with the serene sounds around, can u imagine? Really, calming. it's great getaway. Till next holiday ~ :)
